Loved this blogpost. A common fallacy regarding LOA is that no action is required. An unemployed friend, who was a big A-H follower, did nothing to find a job.... She was just sure one would pop into her life if her vibe was right. A week before her unemployment ran out she finally panicked and got a job selling cosmetics at Macy's. She actually went in to the store, filled out an application and interviewed for it, just like a normal person.

@Monty Thanks for the reframe on the EFT wording. I have another article coming shortly about the Discovery Statement of EFT that will explore the issues further.

Re Proofreading. I must have slipped a bit as I was getting really good there for a while. Thanks for your efforts in the past to help with that.

Rod, I have never thought of the initial statement in EFT as an affirmation, consequently there is no negativity involved for me. The word I use to describe it is "disclaimer" --- that which has happened to me (or is happening) is not me and I am not it.

Does that make sense to you?

Oh ... and BTW your proofreading is still pretty slipshod. But I realised some time ago that it was not my problem.

All the best.
