My Eyesight’s Back!

Ok, this is not a story of EFT restoring full eyesight but let me tell you the story behind the exclamation “My eyesight’s back!”.

I was riding in a car with my 14 year old nephew who was complaining of a headache, tunnel vision and lights in front of his eyes. The driver, a trained nurse, explained that this was a type of migraine that could be caused by chocolate (of which my nephew had indulged earlier) and specifically the amines in chocolate. Amines are organic compounds naturally occurring in many food stuffs. You may be familiar with amino acids which are related.

I decided to have my nephew tap on the headache. We started on the karate chop point with:“Even though I have this headache from eating too much chocolate, I’m a good kid”. We then proceeded to the other tapping points.

We had not even got down to the chin point before my nephew exclaimed “My eyesight’s back!” He said the tunnel vision was gone, he now had full use of his peripheral vision, and the lights in front of eyes were also gone. Needless to say, the nurse who was driving was very surprised.

I am constantly astounded by the fact that in a world as smart and well-informed as ours, that so few individuals seem to pay attention to invaluable choices which are readily available to them to heighten their physical well being. It seems that a majority of people are more interested in a quick fix in the form of a physicians visit and precriptions than in supervising their own wellness process, and doing so in a way that is natural, predictable, and sustainable. That is what makes me treasure attempts like yours to train and prompt individuals to action. I hope that through these attempts, and others, that awareness increases quickly and the population at large establishes to a mentality of personal health that doesn’t depend upon medical specialists and drugs.

@Sari, yes we do live in a world looking for quick fixes and magic pills. Most eyesight problems are temporary muscle issues that could be corrected by exercises but people don’t want to put the time in. Instead they keep getting stronger and stronger prescription. Thanks for your comment.
