About the Emotional Freedom Technique

The Emotional Freedom Technique or EFT is an approach to healing that has gained attention from medical professionals and laypersons all over the world and often gets results when nothing else has worked. EFT has taken Einstein's discoveries (that everything is energy, including the human body) and married them with the ancient tradition of acupuncture.

EFT has been clinically effective in thousands of cases treating every emotional or physical issue you name such as:

  • trauma and abuse
  • stress, panic and anxiety attacks
  • fears and phobias
  • depression
  • addiction and substance abuse
  • allergies
  • children's issues, and
  • hundreds of physical symptoms including headaches, back pain and breathing difficulties.
EFT is also highly effective when applied to all types of peak performance e.g. sports, speaking, sales, acting, etc.

EFT Tapping Points Diagram The success of EFT lies in the balancing of the body's subtle energies that flow through the body, in much the same way as blood flows through veins. This balancing is done with an elegant sort of 'emotional acupressure'. Instead of using needles, specific points on the body are tapped with the fingertips.

When EFT is properly applied, over 80% of clients achieve either noticeable improvement or complete cessation of the problem.

Important: While the same mechanical recipe is used for all ailments, the APPROACHES to the various problems can differ widely. This is where personal sessions with an experienced EFT Practitioner come in - there is an "art of delivery" which is necessary for complicated cases and this involves finding core issues and aspects as well as appropriate reframing and other artistic uses of this flexible tool.
